I've spent 9+ years going from intern to senior engineer, the last five working remotely with international teams. Along the way I learned that great software is less about clever code and more about clear thinking and good taste.
I care about the whole arc — from messy data pipelines and microservices to the polished frontend on top — and I like working close to the product, where engineering decisions actually shape the experience.
